The Bug Club reveals upcoming album ‘Every Single Muscle’ with new track “Watching The Omnibus”
Last summer, the Bug Club unveiled their latest musical offering, Very Human Features, just under a year after their previous album, On The Intricate Inner Workings Of The System. Staying true to their pattern, the Welsh garage rock band has now announced their upcoming LP, Every Single Muscle, marking their third release in as many years. The band gives fans a taste of the new album with the release of the lead single, “Watching The Omnibus.”
“Watching The Omnibus” is a high-energy track packed with intense guitar riffs and thought-provoking existential lyrics, all distilled into a brief 90-second burst. Some standout lines include, “I’m still alive and kicking/ And doing reasonably well/ You’ve got to die for something/ But there’s some things we don’t sell.” The single serves as a glimpse into the sonic landscape that Every Single Muscle promises to explore.
Aside from the single, fans have been given a sneak peek into the full tracklist for the upcoming album. The lineup includes tracks such as “Miss Wales 2012,” “Make It Count,” “Full Range Of Motion,” and “Semi-Automatic.” With a total of 18 tracks, Every Single Muscle seems set to offer a diverse and comprehensive musical experience for listeners.
In addition to the album release, the Bug Club has also announced a series of tour dates in the UK. Kicking off in Wrexham on May 9th at The Rockin’ Chair, the band will be making stops in cities like London, Norwich, Brighton, Bristol, Liverpool, Leeds, and Barry. Notably, they will also be supporting Super Furry Animals at London’s Brixton Academy on May 23rd, adding another exciting element to their tour schedule.
Fans can look forward to Every Single Muscle hitting the shelves on May 29th via Sub Pop, ensuring that the Bug Club’s distinctive sound and style will continue to resonate with audiences. Don’t miss the chance to catch them live on tour as they bring their latest musical creations to stages across the UK. With its mix of energetic tracks and introspective themes, Every Single Muscle promises to be a compelling addition to the Bug Club’s growing discography.
