Fujii Kaze, XG, and Hi-STANDARD added to lineup for Fuji Rock 2026, alongside The xx and Massive Attack
Fuji Rock Festival has recently unveiled the initial lineup for the 2026 edition, set to take place at Naeba Ski Resort from July 24th to 26th. The festival will feature headliners such as The xx, Khruangbin, and Massive Attack alongside a diverse array of international and Japanese artists.
The first day of the festival, headlined by The xx, will also showcase performances by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, Hi-STANDARD, Turnstile, Arlo Parks, HYUKOH, Lettuce, Altın Gün, and many more. Saturday’s lineup will be led by Khruangbin, with acts like Fujii Kaze, XG, Tomora, Basement Jaxx, and BADBADNOTGOOD also taking the stage. Massive Attack will close out the weekend on Sunday, with artists like Susumu Hirasawa + EJIN, Mitski, Mogwai, and Japanese Breakfast rounding out the final day’s performances.
One exciting addition to the festival lineup is Hi-STANDARD, who will be returning to Fuji Rock after 27 years. The band, formed in 1991, played a significant role in Japan’s punk scene and will be making their first appearance at the festival since 1999. ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, celebrating their 30th anniversary, will also be taking the stage, bringing their enduring guitar-driven sound to the festival.
Another highlight of the lineup is Fujii Kaze, a rising star in the Japanese music scene known for blending R&B, soul, and contemporary J-pop. Making his debut at Fuji Rock, Kaze’s performance comes ahead of his Prema World Tour, which is set to kick off in November. XG, a seven-member pop group, will also make their first Fuji Rock appearance, bringing their chart-topping music to the festival stage.
