Wet Leg indie-rock band scheduled to perform at Caesars Windsor on June 9
English indie rock band Wet Leg is scheduled to perform at The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor on June 9. The band, consisting of Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, originated from the Isle of Wight and gained recognition in 2021 with their debut single, Chaise Longue. Following this, they released their first self-titled album, Wet Leg, in 2022.
The album quickly rose to the top of the UK charts and subsequently won a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album. Additionally, their hit single, Chaise Longue, also received a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Performance. The success of their debut album propelled them to international fame.
Initially formed as a duo, Wet Leg expanded their lineup in 2025 to include Josh Mobaraki on guitar, Ellis Durand on bass, and Henry Holmes on drums, growing into a five-piece ensemble. Their follow-up album, moisturizer, released in the same year, achieved critical acclaim by reaching the number one spot on the UK album charts and the sixth position on Billboard’s Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart.
Both their album and the hit single, mangetout, were nominated for Grammy Awards, solidifying Wet Leg’s position as emerging indie rock talents. The band’s name, Wet Leg, holds significance as it is slang from the Isle of Wight, symbolizing mainland visitors crossing the Solent sea to reach the island and getting their “legs wet” in the process.
The upcoming show at Caesars Windsor on June 9 is set to commence at 8 p.m. Tickets for the event will be available for purchase online starting Friday at 10 a.m. on websites such as caesarswindsor.com or ticketmaster.ca, as well as at the Caesars Windsor box office on designated days. Guests must be at least 19 years old to enter the casino premises, ensuring a mature audience for the performance.
