Top 10: ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, Stray Kids, BTS, ILLIT, CORTIS, NewJeans, Yeonjun at the front
Billboard recently released its World Albums chart for the week ending on February 21.
Emerging at number one on the World Albums chart is ATEEZ’s latest mini-album, “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.4.” This album has not only captured the top spot on the World Albums chart but also secured the third position on the esteemed Billboard 200 chart, marking ATEEZ’s most successful week in the United States to date.
Following a remarkable three-week stint at number one, ENHYPEN’s latest mini-album “THE SIN: VANISH” slipped to the second spot on the World Albums chart this week, while maintaining its presence on the Billboard 200 list at number 61. Additionally, ENHYPEN’s 2024 album “ROMANCE: UNTOLD” made a comeback on the World Albums chart, claiming the 25th spot and showcasing its enduring popularity after an impressive 83 weeks on the chart.
Not to be outdone, Stray Kids claimed an impressive six rankings on the World Albums chart this week. The group’s latest album, “DO IT,” secured the third spot in its 12th week on the chart, while “KARMA” landed at number six in its 25th week. Other Stray Kids albums in the mix include “合 (HOP)” at number eight (in its 61st week), “ATE” at number 14 (having spent 82 weeks on the chart), “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” at number 19 (after 73 weeks), and “ROCK-STAR” at number 23 (now in its 58th week on the chart).
BTS continues to maintain a presence on the World Albums chart, with their 2022 anthology album “Proof” holding steady at number four after an impressive 192 weeks. Their 2020 album “Map of the Soul: 7” remains on the chart for its 160th week, now secured at number 16.
The chart also saw ILLIT’s “bomb” making a comeback at number 11 in its 34th week, closely followed by CORTIS’s debut EP “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” at number 12 in its 23rd week. BTS member Jimin’s solo album “MUSE” also observed a resurgence, occupying the 13th spot and marking its 82nd week on the chart.
Further down the list, NewJeans’ “Get Up” maintained its position at number 21 in its 127th week, as Yeonjun of TXT re-entered the chart at number 22 with his solo album “No Labels: Part 01,” now logging a total of 12 weeks on the chart.
