Louder Than Life festival fans have something big to look forward to this September at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. This year’s event, spanning from September 17th to the 20th, will feature nearly 200 bands across an impressive seven stages – making it the largest lineup in the festival’s history and a monumental feat for producer Danny Wimmer Presents. The announcement of the festival’s return on February 23, 2026, has set the music world abuzz, with tickets currently available for purchase and excitement building for what is poised to be a truly historic occasion.
Headlining the festival are some of the most iconic names in rock and metal music. Iron Maiden, Tool, My Chemical Romance, and Limp Bizkit are set to grace the stage, accompanied by a stellar lineup of legendary performers and emerging talents. The lineup for each day is a powerhouse: Thursday sees Iron Maiden, Pantera, and Megadeth leading the pack, supported by acts like Alice Cooper, Anthrax, Danzig, and Rise Against, creating a music lover’s dream experience. Friday ramps up the excitement with a headline performance by My Chemical Romance, in the midst of their Black Parade Tour, alongside Pierce the Veil and A Day to Remember, among others. Finally, Sunday features Tool, Gojira, and Danny Elfman, closing out the festival in epic fashion.
