Park to Add Rides in Preparation for New Opening

Sould Park Plaza Mayor, the latest amusement park set to open in Malaga, Spain, is in the process of setting up its rides in preparation for its grand opening. The company has revised its initial plans, expanding the park’s size from 15,000 square meters to an impressive 21,000 square meters and investing over €21m in the project as reported by SUR in English.

Various attractions have already been put in place, including a carousel, a children’s free fall ride, a roller coaster, and a boat ride. Furthermore, the construction of a 2,500 square meter pirate-themed mini-golf course has been successfully completed. The team is now focused on building the indoor section of the park, where visitors can look forward to enjoying 20 lanes of tenpin bowling, a sports bar, and several party rooms inside the massive 2,200 square meter facility.

With the addition of an extra 6,000 square meters to the original plan, most of which will serve as a parking lot, the park’s owners have hinted at a surprise installation awaiting visitors. Among the wide range of attractions to be featured are a train ride, two water-based experiences, trampolines, a car ride, and bouncy castles. Moreover, the park will host a 7D cinema for an immersive viewing experience.

Sould Park is anticipating an annual influx of three million visitors, solidifying its position as the flagship venue in their portfolio. The company currently manages several amusement parks and bowling centers across Spain and Portugal, making this latest venture a significant addition to their offerings.
