Louder Than Life fans are in for a treat as the lineup for the 2026 festival in Louisville, Kentucky has been officially unveiled. While My Chemical Romance and Iron Maiden were previously announced as headline acts, additional names were revealed on February 23, building up the excitement for the four-day musical extravaganza set to start on September 17.

Iron Maiden will kick off the festival with an electrifying performance, leading up to My Chemical Romance taking the stage on September 18. Limp Bizkit will follow suit on the 19th, with the festival wrapping up on September 20 with a headline show from TOOL, promising a rousing finale to the event.

Producer Danny Wimmer, speaking about the upcoming Louder Than Life 2026 festival, described it as “the rock experience you’ve been waiting for.” Expectations are running high, with Wimmer highlighting the festival’s previous successes and promising an even more unforgettable experience this year for rock enthusiasts.

With nearly 200 artists set to perform across seven stages at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in Louisville, this year’s lineup promises to be the largest in the festival’s history. Among the confirmed acts are Jimmy Eat World, Ice Nine Kills, Killswitch Engage, Bilmuri, and Bowling For Soup, with more names still to be revealed.

The festival’s X post on February 23 teased the remaining lineup, promising the most extensive collection of musical talents yet. In addition to the headline acts, other prominent performers include Pantera and Megadeth on the festival’s opening day, My Chemical Romance, Pierce The Veil, and A Day to Remember on September 18, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, and Sublime on September 19, and TOOL, Gojira, and Danny Elfman on the final night.

Each day of Louder Than Life 2026 features an exciting lineup of artists and bands, sure to keep the energy high throughout the event. September 17 kicks off with Iron Maiden alongside Pantera and Megadeth. The festival’s second day brings exclusives like Cavalera’s roots performance and Loathe’s Midwest exclusive. The third day showcases an all-female-fronted stage lineup, and the final night boasts performances from Black Label Society, Mastodon, and Haste The Day, among others.
