Crimson Glory Reveals First New Album in 26 Years ‘Chasing The Hydra’

Crimson Glory fans have reason to celebrate as the band is gearing up to release their first album in 26 years. Titled “Chasing The Hydra,” the album is set to hit digital services, CD, and vinyl platforms worldwide on April 17th through BraveWords Records.

The band, consisting of founding members Ben, Jeff, and Dana, welcomed the addition of new vocalist Travis Wills and guitarist Mark Borgmeyer in 2023. This lineup has been hitting the road hard over the past year, building anticipation for the upcoming album release in the metal community.

The band members expressed their excitement about the new album, highlighting the significance of Travis’s voice in making this project a reality. They emphasized their commitment to delivering a great album to their dedicated fan base who has eagerly awaited new music for over two decades.

Crimson Glory’s “Chasing the Hydra” will also be available on vinyl through No Remorse Records in various special formats, including liquid-filled vinyl, Hydra’s Breath Vinyl, Yellow/Black Splatter Vinyl, Half Orange/Half Red Vinyl, and traditional Black Vinyl. Both CD and vinyl preorders are available on the band’s website.

For die-hard fans, there will be a deluxe box set edition offered exclusively through the No Remorse Records online store. This limited edition will include the album on gold vinyl, an exclusive cassette tape, the CD version, and a full-autographed photo of Crimson Glory.

The tracklisting of “Chasing The Hydra” includes songs like “Redden The Sun,” “Broken Together,” and “Armor Against Fate,” showcasing the band’s signature blend of heavy metal and progressive rock. Additionally, Crimson Glory will be hitting the road in 2026, with tour dates scheduled across various countries in Europe and North America.

Crimson Glory, formed in 1983 in Sarasota, Florida, has been a powerhouse in the American heavy metal scene. With their classic lineup featuring iconic vocalist Midnight and renowned guitarist Jon Drenning, the band gained international recognition in the mid-1980s.
