CLOUDIAN Chosen for Showcase of Korean Epic Rock with ‘Mirrorball Pick’

CLOUDIAN is set to grace the stage for Mirrorball Pick’s live performance series. Mirrorball Music revealed the exciting news on March 11, announcing that CLOUDIAN will be taking the spotlight at Jebidabang in Hongdae, Seoul, on March 18 for a special performance.

The band has been chosen as this month’s featured artist for Mirrorball Pick, following in the footsteps of talented acts like singer-songwriter Joo Yoon-ha and the band Two Day Old Sneakers. CLOUDIAN’s rise to prominence began with a major win at the “Burak Battle” during the Busan International Rock Festival back in 2018. Their unique epic rock sound captured the hearts of music enthusiasts and garnered significant attention.

Not content with conquering the local music scene, CLOUDIAN has also made waves on the international stage. Following the release of their single “Gardener” in November last year, the band embarked on a successful tour across six cities in Europe, showcasing their musical prowess to audiences abroad.

In a recent development, CLOUDIAN underwent a transformation, downsizing from a six-member ensemble to a tight-knit trio. The current lineup comprises of Brighton as the vocalist, OM on the violin, and Logan on drums. A spokesperson for the group hinted that their upcoming performance will mark their first interaction with fans in their home country since the lineup change. The band aims to demonstrate their strengthened teamwork and enhanced musical abilities during the show.

Having already impressed audiences with their Korean-style epic rock on international platforms, CLOUDIAN is poised to deliver a dynamic and captivating performance at the upcoming Mirrorball Pick event. The concert series was launched with the goal of bolstering the sustainability of South Korea’s indie music scene, with esteemed artists such as Crying Nut and Danpyunsun and the Sailors having graced the stage in previous editions.
