EMNW to bring Y2K mix-rock to the UK in May with shows in Leeds, London, and The Great Escape

EMNW, a dynamic Y2K mixture-rock duo, is set to make their UK debut this coming May with the EMNW To KAMASU UK TOUR 2026. Consisting of Emma Yuki and Menu, the pair will kick off their four-date tour at The Key Club in Leeds on May 9th, followed by a show at The Black Heart in London on May 11th, a renowned venue for alternative and heavy music in Camden. The tour will culminate with performances during The Great Escape festival in Brighton on May 13th and 14th.

Having met through their management company, Emma and Menu discovered a shared history from the Senko Riot audition, leading to the formation of EMNW in 2024. Initially focused on pop covers, the duo pivoted towards a heavier sound with the release of their debut single ‘Choushi doudai?’ in November 2024. This track marked their entry into the mixture-rock genre, blending rap vocals, heavy guitar riffs, and infectious rhythms.

Drawing inspiration from the Y2K-era mixture-rock movement in Japan, which melded punk, hip hop, and metal influences, EMNW describes their music as a blend of ‘hard, cute, and aggressive’, with a strong emphasis on engaging with their audience during live performances. The term ‘KAMASU’, taken from their second single, symbolizes their commitment to giving their all and pushing boundaries beyond their native Japan.

EMNW saw a significant breakthrough in 2025 when they performed at the ROOKIE A GO GO stage at Fuji Rock Festival ’25, grabbing the attention of Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst with their cover of ‘Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)’. Their self-titled debut album, released in March 2026, features tracks like ‘Get it, Get it’, penned by QON and showcasing the talents of musicians from bands like Survive Said The Prophet and Crossfaith.

Currently, EMNW is on a nationwide tour in Japan, the EMNW To KAMASU – GOOD VIBES ONLY JAPAN TOUR 2026, spanning 25 dates and concluding with a grand finale at Tokyo’s Ebisu LIQUIDROOM in June.
