Upcoming concert at Jube on June 29 features Metric, Broken Social Scene, and Stars

Metric, Broken Social Scene, and Stars are set to perform at the Jube on June 29 as part of their All the Feelings Tour, which includes 14 Canadian and European dates. This collaboration of iconic Canadian bands promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Metric, a Toronto-based band formed in 1998, has been a powerhouse in the alternative rock scene. With hits like “Help I’m Alive,” “Gimme Sympathy,” “Youth Without Youth,” and “Gold Guns Girls,” they have amassed multiple Juno awards. Their upcoming album “Romanticize the Dive,” set to release on April 24, is highly anticipated by fans.

Moving on to Montreal-based Broken Social Scene, formed in 1999 as a more relaxed version of Belle and Sebastian, they are known for their large, ever-rotating lineup of 19 players. Collaborating with artists like Feist and Emily Haines, the band creates a musical potluck that is truly unique and captivating.

Stars, another beloved Canadian band, broke into the scene with their album “Heart” in 2003. Their covers of The Smiths and The Pogues’ songs, along with their original hits like “Take Me to the Riot,” “Your Ex-Lover Is Dead,” and “Celebration Guns,” have earned them a loyal fan base.

Tickets for this incredible indie lineup will go on sale on jubileeauditorium.com on Friday at 10 a.m. Artist presales and AmEx line-jumping will be available on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. This show promises to be a night to remember for fans of Canadian music.
