A-ha, the Norwegian band responsible for the timeless hit, reflected on the enduring popularity and impact of “Take On Me” in the 2019 documentary The Making Of…Take On Me. Band member Magne Furuholmen expressed surprise at the song’s overwhelming success, noting that it overshadowed much of their subsequent work.
