Xdinary Heroes, the beloved idol band, is making a triumphant return with their latest song ‘Voyager’. This new track is part of their upcoming mini-album titled ‘DEAD AND’, scheduled for release at 1 p.m. on April 17. The anticipation for this new release has been steadily building, fueled by a tracklist image posted by JYP on the group’s official social media channels on March 23.
The new mini-album will contain a total of seven tracks, including the title track ‘Voyager’ and the pre-released track ‘X room’. Fans can also look forward to hearing ‘Helium Balloon’, ‘No Cool Kids Zone’, ‘Hurt So Good’, ‘Rise High Rise’, and ‘KTM’. What sets this album apart is that all six members of Xdinary Heroes – Geonil, Jungsu, Gaon, O.de, Jun Han, and Jooyeon – have had a hand in creating each of these tracks. Given their previous involvement in crafting their music, fans are eagerly awaiting the diverse musical spectrum that the band will showcase with this release.
‘Venturer’, the title track of the album, was once again a collaborative effort between Xdinary Heroes and renowned K-pop producer Lee Woo-min, also known as “collapsedone”. This partnership has produced memorable tracks in the past, such as ‘PLUTO’, ‘Open beta version 6.3’, ‘Save me’, ‘Night before the end’, and ‘Beautiful Life’. Furthermore, the album features contributions from leading composers like Sim Eun-ji, VERSACHOI, and Lee Hae-sol, promising a high-quality listening experience for fans.
In the past year, Xdinary Heroes has solidified their status as a ‘next-generation K-pop super band’ through a series of activities that have captivated audiences worldwide. From multiple album releases and a successful world tour to standout performances at prestigious music festivals like ‘Lollapalooza Chicago’ and the ‘2025 Busan International Rock Festival’, the band has been making waves in the music industry. Their opening act for the Korea concert by British rock band MUSE and official fan meetings have further showcased their versatility and global appeal.
As fans eagerly await the release of the pre-released track on the 25th and the full mini-album ‘DEAD AND’ on April 17, Xdinary Heroes continues to set the bar high for themselves with each new musical endeavor. With their unique sound, engaging performances, and global ambitions, the band is poised to make an even greater impact on the K-pop scene in the years to come.
