Renowned rock artist, Jim Jones, known for his time with Thee Hypnotics and The Jim Jones Revue, is making a comeback with the Jim Jones All Stars and their upcoming album, Cat Fight. Scheduled for release on April 3, 2026, through Silver Arrow Records, the album has already garnered praise from Chris Robinson from The Black Crowes, who hailed it as “the real rock n roll business.”
The production of Cat Fight, overseen by Chris Robinson, aims to capture the electrifying essence of the band’s live performances. With 12 new tracks, the All Stars blend the raw energy of Little Richard’s rock & roll with The Stooges’ garage rock, resulting in a fiery musical experience. Featuring a mix of influences, the album kicks off with the gritty, Stones-inspired vibes of “Make It Rain,” transitions to the brass-infused “Born 2 Ride,” and culminates with the gritty “I’m On Fire.” Notable guest appearances include Robinson on vocals, Chuck Prophet on guitar, and the iconic Gloria Jones.
Recorded across Leeds and London, Cat Fight was mixed by Jim Jones himself to ensure a passionate and immersive listening experience. To mark the album’s release, the band will embark on a UK tour starting in April, with additional dates slated for July. Fans can catch the Jim Jones All Stars at various venues, including The Piper in St Leonards, Hare & Hounds in Birmingham, and The Parish in Huddersfield.
