New album from CONVERGE expected to drop in June – Metal Injection
Converge is gearing up to release another new album this June, continuing their impressive string of recent musical output. The upcoming album, titled Hum Of Hurt, is slated for a June 5 release on Epitaph Records, marking their next full-length offering following the earlier 2026 release, Love Is Not Enough. This announcement comes hot on the heels of their return earlier this year with Love Is Not Enough, their first mainline album since 2017’s The Dusk In Us.
When Converge began working on new material, drummer Ben Koller shared that they had a wealth of song ideas at their disposal. They had 27 ideas in progress, with a substantial portion of 17 already recorded. Love Is Not Enough only included a fraction of these ideas, leading fans to speculate about more music on the horizon. The band fueled these speculations with cryptic billboard teasers in Boston, hinting at forthcoming releases.
The band seems to have confirmed these speculations, with Apple Music listings showing that they are indeed preparing to launch a second album in rapid succession. The new album, Hum Of Hurt, will arrive on June 5, 2026, with its title track serving as the lead single set for release online on April 1.
Converge will also be hitting the road for a series of live shows in the coming months. They will be performing alongside notable acts like Poison The Well, Spy, The Armed, and many more across various cities in the United States and Europe.
The band’s tour dates are as follows:
– Cleveland, OH House Of Blues
– Chicago, IL Concord Music Hall
– Pontiac, MI Crofoot
– Dayton, OH Hidden Gem
– New Kensington, PA Preserving Underground
– Toronto, ON History
– Montreal, QC Theatre Beanfield
– Worcester, MA The Palladium
– New York, NY Knockdown Center
– Philadelphia, PA The Fillmore
– Baltimore, MD Nevermore Hall
Converge will also be touring Europe, with shows scheduled in Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, and various festival appearances in the Netherlands, France, UK, Czech Republic, Spain, and Portugal.
Fans of Converge can look forward to the forthcoming album Hum Of Hurt and their extensive tour schedule, showcasing their continued commitment to delivering fresh, cutting-edge music to their dedicated audience.
