Their journey began over two decades ago when they formed as 21 Demands in Swords, north county Dublin. In 2012, the band rebranded themselves as Kodaline to signify a new musical direction. Throughout their career, they have released four albums: In a Perfect World (2013), Coming Up for Air, Politics of Living (2018), and One Day at a Time (2020).
Lead singer Steve Garrigan expressed that the decision to part ways was a natural progression for the group. Despite having played together since they were kids, they feel that it is the right time to explore other projects individually. From their humble beginnings busking on the streets of Dublin to performing for thousands of fans across the globe, the band members are grateful for the love and support they have received throughout their career.
As they prepare to embark on their farewell tour starting in Belfast on June 17, Kodaline remains excited to hit the road together one last time.
