Blood Incantation has announced the release of their All Gates Open (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) set to be unveiled on June 5th, 2026, via Century Media. This release comes after their groundbreaking 2024 album Absolute Elsewhere. The soundtrack was initially only available in the Absolute Elsewhere Artbook but is now being released as a standalone project for the first time. It includes the soundtrack and a 73-minute documentary, available in various formats like Blu-ray, vinyl, and digital album versions.

All Gates Open showcases the genesis of the Absolute Elsewhere era, offering a different side to Blood Incantation’s usual sonic identity. With four immersive tracks composed in 2021, the material presents a pastoral, ambient, and introspective sound. Paul Riedl, the guitarist and vocalist, describes it as the “yang energy” to the shadowy atmospheres of Timewave Zero.

The documentary included in the release gives viewers a glimpse into the band’s creative process during their time at Berlin’s Hansa Tonstudios, where they worked on Absolute Elsewhere. Directed by Niklas Tschaikowsky and Tammo Dehn, the film provides an intimate look at the band’s daily life, creative process, and the cultural influences of Berlin. The documentary also features appearances by members of Tangerine Dream, Hällas, and Sijjin.

According to Paul Riedl, the soundtrack is not a follow-up to Absolute Elsewhere but a documentation of the process that led to the album. It captures the very beginning of that era, with songs that pre-date the album’s release. The soundtrack and documentary combined create a comprehensive artistic statement, preserving the initial spark that ignited Blood Incantation’s ambitious work.

Mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk, All Gates Open features retro-futuristic analog collage artwork by Jodie Day. The release represents a crucial piece in the band’s expanding universe, completing the creative arc that started with Absolute Elsewhere. The All Gates Open experience will be complemented by live dates in the summer of 2026, spanning across various locations in Europe, including Germany, Sweden, Poland, and the UK.

The album cover showcases the album tracklist, including titles like Balance, Flight, Dawn, and Rain. Different formats will be available for purchase, varying from digital albums to limited edition vinyl versions. The physical formats will also include the full documentary and official music videos on Blu-ray.

Blood Incantation’s lineup comprises Paul Riedl, Isaac Faulk, Morris Kolontyrsky, and Jeff Barrett, and fans can stay connected with the band through their homepage, Bandcamp, Instagram, and Facebook pages. The All Gates Open (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is a testament to Blood Incantation’s artistic evolution, documenting a pivotal moment in the band’s journey and setting the stage for their future endeavors.
