JOHN CORABI, a rock legend, has recently released his solo debut album titled ‘New Day,’ now available through Frontiers Music Srl. The album features a mix of classic ’70s rock, soul, and blues influences, reflecting a timeless and deeply personal sound. Produced by Marti Frederiksen and recorded in Nashville in 2025, the album showcases Corabi’s strong vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and skilled songwriting abilities. Tracks like “Così Bella (So Beautiful)” and “Your Own Worst Enemy” demonstrate the richness and depth of the album. Collaborators on the album include Marti Frederiksen on backing vocals, guitars, piano, and percussion, along with Evan Frederiksen on drums, bass, B3 organ, electric guitar, mandolin, and programming. Notable guest musicians such as Richard Fortus, Paul Taylor, and Charlie Starr contribute their talents to create an organic, instrument-driven sound focused on real performances and soulful energy.
The lead single “1969” is a standout track on the album, inspired by the turbulent situations in America and reminiscent of the chaotic times of the 60s and 70s. The riff on the song, courtesy of Stevie D from Buckcherry, pays homage to Creedence Clearwater Revival, one of Corabi’s favorite bands. The official music video for “1969” captures the essence of the song’s message and complements the music perfectly.
