Europe to drop new album “Come This Madness” on September 25, 2026.
Europe is celebrating the release of their highly anticipated 12th studio album, “Come This Madness,” set to debut on September 25th, 2026, through Silver Lining Music / Hell & Back Recordings. Embracing nine years since their last album, Europe returns with a powerful and uncompromising statement that showcases their evolution and refusal to stagnate.
“Come This Madness” features tracks like “One on One,” “The Cult of Ignorance,” and the title track, exuding raw energy, personal insights, and global resonances. The lead single, “One on One,” introduces a fresh, modern sound while maintaining Europe’s classic vibe, highlighted by dynamic bass riffs and soaring melodies. Reflecting a time of global stillness but developed over years, the single encapsulates persistence and growth, marking a defining moment on the forthcoming album.
Frontman Joey Tempest expresses his admiration for “One on One,” noting its blend of fresh power with nostalgic melodies. The song’s lyrics capture a reflection of contemporary times, demonstrating a balance between classic elements and modern rock influences. Recorded at RMV Studio in Stockholm and with special guest appearances from Tobias Forge and Michael Ã…kerfeldt, “Come This Madness” was produced by Tom Dalgety, known for his work with Ghost, Rammstein, and others. The album’s sound was shaped collaboratively, with Dalgety becoming an integral part of the band’s creative process, from writing to recording. The band also enlisted renowned mixing engineer Mike Fraser to finalize the project, ensuring a cohesive and impactful sound.
