P.O.D. finishes follow-up album to ‘Veritas’ in Philadelphia studio
Christian nu-metal band P.O.D. recently wrapped up the recording process for their latest album, which has been described as a follow-up to their previous release, Veritas. The band teamed up with acclaimed music producer and engineer Will Yip at Memory Music Studios in South Philadelphia for this project.
During an interview with Chaoszine, P.O.D. guitarist Marcos Curiel spoke about Yip’s deep understanding of the band’s unique sound, blending elements of hip-hop, indie rock, and post-hardcore to give their music a fresh twist while still staying true to their identity. Curiel expressed pride in the efficient recording process, noting that they were able to track vocals, drums, and guitars for 13 to 14 songs in just 12 days, highlighting the importance of preparation in the studio.
Following the completion of the album, P.O.D. is gearing up for an extensive tour schedule from May through October, with performances scheduled across North America and Europe. The band is set to rock major music festivals such as Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio on May 17, Download Festival in Derby, United Kingdom on June 12, Nova Rock in Nickelsdorf, Austria on June 14, and Rock in Rio Lisboa in Lisbon, Portugal on June 21.
