The Who recently released another song from their upcoming album, “Live at Eden Project,” scheduled for release on May 29. The new track is a live recording of their 1981 hit, “You Better You Bet,” from their concert at the Eden Project in Cornwall, England, known for its sustainable biomes.

Prog rock band Yes has postponed their European tour to allow their guitarist, Steve Howe, to undergo essential surgery. The band made the announcement to delay their “Fragile” tour to ensure Howe has sufficient time to recover.

Big news for fans of Billy Idol and David Lee Roth as they are set to perform together at The Roundup MusicFest in Calgary AB on July 8. The music festival will also showcase performances by other artists such as Sloan, Toque, Foster The People, and Grouplove, among others.

Members of the band Loverboy, Mike Reno, and Paul Dean, are among the honorees set to be inducted into The Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2026. They will be celebrated alongside other artists like The Tragically Hip, Feist, and Roch Voisine at a ceremony in Toronto’s Massey Hall on September 26.

Numerous artists, including Rush, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, and Bryan Adams, are generously donating unique experiences to be auctioned off for Rock N’ Relief. Proceeds from the auction will go towards supporting musicians and industry workers in need.

Geddy Lee of Rush recently shared their decision to embark on a reunion tour, feeling that it was a way to properly thank their late drummer, Neil Peart, and celebrate his legacy. Lee and Alex Lifeson were inspired by the 2022 Taylor Hawkins tribute shows to consider hitting the road again.

The Recording Academy is paying tribute to Rod Stewart with a concert special, “Forever Young: A Grammy Salute to Rod Stewart Live,” airing on CBS and Paramount+ on May 19. The special will showcase performances from Stewart’s “One Last Time Tour,” along with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.
