This track is the second single from their upcoming album, following the release of “Awaken” almost eighteen months ago. The band has revealed that the recording of their new album is nearly complete, with final vocals being recorded at Welcome To Rockville. This seventh album follows their 2018 release, Ember.
Listeners have noticed that “Something Wicked” takes them back to the band’s earlier days, reminiscent of their debut album, Saturate, from 2002, and its successor, We Are Not Alone, from 2004. Lead singer and guitarist, Benjamin Burnley, showcases his vocal prowess in this track, seamlessly transitioning between melancholic harmonies and his iconic scream.
