Progressive and alternative pop group, Exploring Birdsong, have unveiled their latest single, “Spy In The House Of Love,” ahead of their upcoming debut album, Every House We Built, scheduled for release on June 26 through Long Branch Records.

Vocalist Lynsey Ward discusses the inspiration behind the track, revealing, “I came across the book ‘Spy in the House of Love’ unexpectedly one day and found the phrase resonated with me during a difficult breakup. Although the book and our song share little in common, stumbling upon it sparked a surge of creativity and personal reflection for me. Heartbreak can leave us feeling confused and betrayed, and while many songs have been written about this theme, it was new ground for us to explore.”
The tracklist for Every House We Built includes songs like “Archipelago,” “42,” “Romanticise,” “Footprints,” “Arrhythmia,” “Spy In The House Of Love,” “I_You,” “The Warning,” “You Like It Best When It Hurts,” “Cartography,” “Every House We Built,” and “Meadowlands.”

In support of their upcoming album, Exploring Birdsong will headline a tour across the UK in September, marking some of their most significant shows yet. The tour will commence on September 23 in Glasgow, followed by performances in London, Bristol, and culminating in Manchester on September 26.
