Scott McLean used his expertise to produce, record, and mix the album “Mournhold” by Tyrannus at Neon Fable Studios in Edinburgh, a process that took place between January and June of the year 2025. The mastered version of the album was meticulously handled by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, ensuring a high-quality final product that captures the essence of the band’s unique sound.
Tyrannus, a UK-based extreme metal outfit, burst onto the scene in 2018 with their debut album “Unslayable,” showcasing a blend of death, thrash, and black metal elements that set them apart in the underground music scene.
