Anthrax has revealed details about their upcoming studio album “Cursum Perficio,” which is scheduled for release on September 18. The band dropped the first single, “It’s For the Kids,” along with an official music video, marking their 12th album since their last release, “For All Kings,” in 2016.

The band lineup includes Scott Ian on guitar, Charlie Benante on drums, Frank Bello on bass, Joey Belladonna on vocals, and Jon Donais on guitar. The video for “It’s For the Kids” was shot on a cold, rainy December day at the Pennhurst Asylum and pays homage to Anthrax’s first video, “Madhouse.” Fans played a crucial role in bringing the video to life, creating an authentic and nostalgic experience akin to their earlier work.

The official tracklist for “Cursum Perficio” includes tracks such as “Persistence of Memory,” “The Long Goodbye,” “Everybody’s Got a Plan,” “The Edge of Perfection,” “Infectious,” “NYC 93,” “Cursum Perficio,” “T.O.M.B.,” “Watch It Go,” and “My Victory.”

In addition to the album release, Anthrax has announced a series of tour dates for 2026. The tour kicks off in May with concerts in various locations across Europe, including Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, and Slovakia. The band will continue their tour through June, visiting Hungary, Germany, Poland, Czechia, Netherlands, and Germany.

The tour spans into July with performances in Italy, Croatia, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and concludes with shows in Spain and Portugal. Anthrax will resume their tour in September with concerts in Montreal and New Jersey before heading to the United States for shows in Kentucky, California, and Texas. The band wraps up their tour in October with performances in Mexico City.
