Imagineering has shared an in-depth look at the numerous Easter Eggs scattered throughout Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, a new attraction set to open soon. This unique ride pays homage to various Muppet projects from the past, delighting fans of Muppet*Vision 3D and Muppet movies. The Imagineers behind this creation have released a video showcasing the numerous nods to the Muppets throughout the attraction.

One notable feature is the queue of the ride, where over 30 minutes of original footage was filmed to entertain waiting guests. This footage features appearances from beloved Muppets like Bobo the Bear, Fozzie, and celebrities such as John Stamos and Weird Al Yankovic. Within the queue area, visitors can explore a gallery curated by Yolanda the Rat, displaying props and artifacts from Muppet history. Some highlights include a meticulously recreated replica of Kermit’s original banjo from “The Muppet Movie” and guitars played by members of the Electric Mayhem from “The Muppet Show.”

As visitors proceed through the alleyway towards the attraction, they encounter references to Jim Henson, the mastermind behind the Muppets. Gonzo’s Stunt School is filled with Easter Eggs, including nods to Muppet*Vision 3D and “The Muppet Show.” The cannon used by penguins to shoot at the Swedish Chef, as seen in Muppet*Vision 3D, is now a prop in this section. Fans will also spot PizzeRizzo pizza boxes, along with various tributes to obscure Muppets like Angus McGonagle.

The loading area wall features a recreation of the Pop Off billboard from “The Muppet Movie,” and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker debut their mobile Muppet Lab in the parking lot. Inside the ride itself, guests will find further Easter Eggs, including a special tribute to Waldo, the Spirit of 3D. As the ride concludes, fans are greeted by the familiar faces of Statler and Waldorf from Muppet*Vision 3D, complete with new and classic lines.

A particularly touching moment is the tribute to Jim Henson himself, in Muppet form, as guests exit the attraction. These nostalgic references to Muppet icons and moments make Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets a must-see for fans of the beloved franchise. Be sure to watch the video showcasing these Easter Eggs and prepare for an exciting ride when the attraction opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 26.
