New collaboration with JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure brings exclusive merchandise to ice cream line
The popular manga and anime series JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has teamed up with Glico, a Japanese confectionery company, to launch a unique promotion at Seven-Eleven convenience stores.
This collaboration, known as the “Forward! Crunchy Campaign,” offers customers the opportunity to win exclusive character merchandise by purchasing select ice cream products.
Debuting in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1987, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure follows the Joestar family through various generational story arcs, captivating audiences with its distinct artistic style, dramatic poses, and intense battles involving supernatural abilities called Stands.
With a worldwide fanbase, the series has inspired numerous animated adaptations, spin-offs, and a wide range of collectibles.
As part of the limited-time campaign, customers can participate in a lottery by buying specific Glico ice cream items, including the Glico Giant Cone Choco Nuts, Glico Giant Cone Cookies & Choco, and Glico Giant Cone Choco & Milk, priced at 198 yen each.
Upon purchasing two qualifying items in a single transaction, customers will receive a unique serial number on their receipt, which can be used to enter an online lottery for a chance to win prizes.
Prizes in the “A Course” category include a collection box with eight ice cream cones of different flavors. On the other hand, winners in the “B Course” tier will receive an original stand designed to hold the Giant Cone dessert upright, with eight character designs available, each with 30 units.
The characters represented in the promotion range from key protagonists in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure history, such as Jonathan Joestar, Joseph Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, Josuke Higashikata, Giorno Giovanna, Jolyne Cujoh, Johnny Joestar, and Gyro Zeppeli.
Additionally, participants will receive a digital smartphone wallpaper featuring one of eight character designs, split into two release periods.
The promotion is currently running at Seven-Eleven stores in Japan until June 8, 2026. Serial numbers on receipts will be valid for online entries until June 15, 2026, with winners of the physical prizes being notified by email in late June 2026.
