Two new Sakura Miku Nendoroid dolls promote tourism in northern Japan.

Good Smile Company recently announced the launch of pre-orders for two new Nendoroid Doll figures featuring Hatsune Miku in her Sakura Miku persona. These figures, named “Nendoroid Doll Sakura Miku Hirohako 2025 Ver. (Hirosaki)” and “Nendoroid Doll Sakura Miku Hirohako 2025 Ver. (Hakodate),” were designed to celebrate a regional tourism initiative in northern Japan.

The “Hirohako” campaign is a collaborative effort between Hirosaki City in Aomori Prefecture and Hakodate City in Hokkaido. The campaign aims to promote travel attractions in both cities using the popular cherry blossom-themed Sakura Miku character. Each year, exclusive merchandise featuring Sakura Miku is released to attract fans and collectors.

The Nendoroid Doll format blends the standard Nendoroid head with a posable doll body clothed in fabric outfits. Standing at approximately 14 cm tall, these figures incorporate the character’s original skin tone into the plastic parts. For the “Hirohako” release, two Sakura Miku Nendoroid Dolls with outfits themed after Hirosaki and Hakodate are available for purchase.

The “Nendoroid Doll Sakura Miku Hirohako 2025 Ver. (Hirosaki)” figure captures the essence of the regional artwork with its pink twin-tails, traditional garments, and cherry hair accessories. The set includes a fabric hair ribbon, kimono, hakama skirt, tights, and magnetic shoes. On the other hand, the “Nendoroid Doll Sakura Miku Hirohako 2025 Ver. (Hakodate)” figure reflects a different aesthetic inspired by the Hokkaido aspect of the tourism campaign. This set includes a fabric bonnet, haori coat, kimono, obi sash, underwear, and magnetic shoes.

Additionally, outfit sets for each figure are available for purchase separately. These clothing packages allow collectors to dress up other Nendoroid Dolls in Sakura Miku-themed attire. Both figure releases include interchangeable hand parts and a display base designed to support the magnetic soles of the shoes.

Fans interested in these figures can pre-order them through the official Good Smile Company online shop and select hobby goods retailers. Pre-orders are open from May 26, 2026, until July 8, 2026, with scheduled shipping in January 2027.
