Band P.O.D. finishes recording new album with producer Will Yip

P.O.D. has recently completed the recording sessions for their upcoming studio album at Memory Music Studios in the Whitman section of South Philadelphia. The band started the songwriting process for this new album in October 2025 and managed to lay down all the necessary components, including vocals, guitars, and bass, in just 12 days.

This album represents a new experience for P.O.D. as it is the first time they have recorded outside of California. They collaborated with Will Yip, a GRAMMY-nominated producer, to bring this project to life in Philadelphia. The unique atmosphere of South Philadelphia combined with Yip’s studio environment provided a refreshing and inspiring backdrop for the recording process. While the release date and title for the album are still up in the air, fans can expect it to follow in the footsteps of 2024’s “Veritas.”

Now that the recording phase is complete, P.O.D. is gearing up for a busy 2026 touring schedule.
