Lizzo, the accomplished GRAMMY® and Emmy Award-winning superstar artist, has recently unveiled her latest album, Bitch, which is now available for listening. Introducing her new project, Lizzo expressed how the title represents the power of reclaiming a word once utilized to belittle women and transforming it into a statement of self-assurance and unapologetic self-love. Drawing inspiration from musical icons like Meredith Brooks and Missy Elliot, who have wielded the term in a positive light, Lizzo asserted that it was fitting to name her album Bitch, embracing the word as a symbol of empowerment.

Highlighted in this album is the track “Sexy Ladies,” a fresh take on the 2005 hit “Sexy Lady” by D.C. go-go band UCB (Uncalled 4 Band). This track pays homage to the UCB classic and pays tribute to the go-go genre as it marks 50 years of Washington, D.C.’s official music scene. Last month, Lizzo released the title track Bitch alongside a captivating music video directed by child, featuring Lizzo and a troupe of performers. The track, produced by Ricky Reed, Blake Slatkin, and Zack Sekoff, incorporates elements from Meredith Brooks’ hit song of the same name.

In addition to “Sexy Ladies,” Lizzo previously unveiled “Don’t Make Me Love U,” a track from the new album that garnered high praise from critics and fans alike. The song’s accompanying video delves into Lizzo’s introspective journey, showcasing personal growth and reflection. Earlier this year, Lizzo wowed audiences with a series of sold-out performances at Blue Note Jazz Club in Los Angeles and New York, receiving acclaim for her remarkable vocal talent, engaging stage presence, and exceptional musical prowess.

Adding to her already impressive resume, Lizzo recently announced the forthcoming release of her debut children’s book, Lil Lizzo Meets Sasha B. Flootin’, hitting shelves on September 8th, 2026. Delving into the world of literature, Lizzo’s book follows the story of a spirited young girl seeking connection alongside a vibrant, bold flute in search of its voice. Additionally, Lizzo is set to portray the legendary Rock N Roll pioneer and gospel singer Sister Rosetta Tharpe in the upcoming film “Rosetta” from Amazon MGM Studios, illustrating her versatility and range across various entertainment mediums.

Recognized as a four-time GRAMMY® Award winner and Emmy Award recipient, Lizzo has made an indelible impact on popular culture, achieving multiple Hot 100 #1 hits, certifications of gold, platinum, and multi-platinum records, and captivating audiences worldwide. Lizzo further solidified her place in music history with hits like “Truth Hurts” and “About Damn Time,” breaking records and garnering widespread acclaim.
