“Mado Cinema Presents ‘Giddens Ko’s Kung Fu’ in Sapporo City”
July’s edition of the mado cinema series will feature the screening of “Giddens Ko’s Kung Fu,” the latest creation by director Giddens Ko, known for “Till We Meet Again,” which will be showcased in June. “Giddens Ko’s Kung Fu” made its debut on 6/5 (Friday) at Shin-Bungeiza in Tokyo and various other venues.
This film encapsulates the unique world of Giddens, combining elements of Youth, Wuxia Action, and Super Chunibyo. It presents a new perspective on Taiwanese Kung Fu that differs from the popular Hong Kong kung fu action film “Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In.”
Fans of “Till We Meet Again” will be delighted to see Kai Ko and Gingle Wang making appearances in this movie as well. Save the dates of 6/20 (Saturday) and 7/18 (Saturday) for a cinematic experience at mado cinema for two consecutive months.
Tickets for the screening are now available for purchase. With the discontinuation of the “PassMarket” service, ticket sales have shifted to the “teket” platform. Guests can make purchases without the need for an account. For more information and ticket bookings, refer to the details provided below.
