However, as the album progressed, it was eventually replaced on every track except for “Heatwave.” The band describes this particular song as a critique of the smooth talkers and deceptive charm associated with certain individuals. They also boast about the guitar solo on the track, emphasizing that it was flawlessly recorded in a single take. The band drew inspiration for “Heatwave” from icons of the ’80s such as Saada Bonaire and Gina X Performance, citing their tough and edgy aesthetic as influences.
