Collaborating with a dedicated group of musicians, which includes singer/guitarist Emmett Kelly, singer/bassist Mikal Cronin, singer/keyboardist Ben Boye, and drummer Evan Burrows, Segall’s upcoming album Chrome promises to be a standout work of art. The band shares writing credits for half of the tracks, with Segall co-writing others alongside Kelly. Contributions from Matt Yoka and Denée Segall further enhance the album’s depth. In addition to Chrome, Segall will also release the Love Fuzzz EP, a two-song 7″ featuring tracks from the album sessions. Fans can expect a revamped version of “Love Fuzz” from Segall’s 2012 album Twins, as well as the krautrock-inspired “My Pet Guru” on the B-side.
Serving as a preview of Chrome, the lead single “Black Paint” showcases Segall’s signature catchy riffs, guaranteeing a head-banging experience for listeners.
