Movements Preview “Everything Is Fine” From Upcoming Album Happier Now

Southern California’s post-hardcore band Movements has recently unveiled their latest song, ‘Everything Is Fine’, from their upcoming album ‘Happier Now’. Set to be released on September 4 via Fearless Records, this track follows the release of ‘Dissolve Me’ and ‘Back In My Ways’, giving fans a glimpse into the band’s evolving sound since their last album, ‘RUCKUS!’, in 2023.

Throughout the track, Movements showcase a shift towards a more melodic and contemplative style, diverging from their usual emotionally charged post-hardcore and alternative rock sound. ‘Everything Is Fine’ retains the introspection and tension that characterize the band’s music while exploring new post-punk elements and an expansive chorus.

Vocalist Patrick Miranda shared that ‘Everything Is Fine’ underwent multiple transformations before being finalized, making it one of the standout tracks on the album. Touching on themes of anxiety, the song resonates with fans who have followed the band from their earlier work.

Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Will Yip, known for his work with bands like Turnstile, Title Fight, and Circa Survive, ‘Happier Now’ marks a continuation of the creative partnership between Movements and Yip that dates back to the band’s inception. Miranda revealed that the album serves as a bridge between their earlier sound and the newer, more experimental vibe explored in ‘RUCKUS!’.

Since their formation in 2015, Movements have rapidly gained popularity. Signing to Fearless Records after just one show, the band released their debut EP ‘Outgrown Things’ in 2016, followed by their first full-length album, ‘Feel Something’, in 2017. Their subsequent works, ‘No Good Left To Give’ in 2020 and ‘RUCKUS!’ in 2023, expanded their musical horizon while maintaining the raw and authentic storytelling that defines their music.

With the release of ‘Happier Now’ on the horizon, Movements are gearing up for their appearance at Warped Tour this year, marking a significant moment in their journey. Having recently toured Australia with Pierce The Veil, the band is reaching new audiences and solidifying their position in the music scene.
