BABYMONSTER recently concluded a successful run of three sold-out nights at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul, marking the start of their second world tour, “CHOOM.” The six-member lineup, including Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rora, and Chiquita, delivered an electrifying performance with the absence of Rami due to health reasons. The use of a live band added a dynamic and intense element to their hip-hop tracks, drawing a significant reaction from the audience, especially during Ahyeon’s high notes in “Drip.”

The band’s performance at Jamsil Indoor Stadium was a testament to their dedication to their fans, with Rora emphasizing the importance of not taking their audience for granted. In addition to their hit songs like “I Like It” and “Sugar Honey Ice Tea,” the group impressed with instrumental breaks that allowed for seamless costume changes while keeping the energy levels high. Each member also showcased their individual talents by rearranging well-known tracks in their unique styles, demonstrating their versatility and artistry.

Following the success of their Seoul concerts, BABYMONSTER announced the release of a music video for “I Like It,” a track from their third EP, scheduled to premiere on July 6. This marks the third music video from the group, with previous releases “Choom” and “Sugar Honey Ice Tea” garnering over 100 million views on YouTube. YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk personally made the announcement, underscoring the label’s continued support for the group.

The “CHOOM” world tour will continue with upcoming shows in Japan, including performances in Kobe, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Chiba, Nagoya, and Osaka. Notable highlights of the tour include BABYMONSTER’s first-ever dome concerts at the Kyocera Dome Osaka in September, marking a significant milestone for the group. Beyond Asia, the tour will take BABYMONSTER to Oceania, Europe, and South America, encompassing five continents in total. Dates for North America, South America, and Europe shows are yet to be announced, building anticipation for fans worldwide.
