Quemasantos unveils artwork for ‘Stranded In Hell’ album

Quemasantos has unveiled the cover art for their upcoming second album, “Stranded In Hell,” set to be released worldwide on CD in 2026 through Digmetalworld Records. The artwork provides a glimpse into the album’s theme, which revolves around a journey through a hellish landscape spread across 11 songs.

The album’s genesis is rooted in drummer and producer Ignacio Orellana’s challenging period while his wife battled cancer. Originally planned as a fifteen-track album, the project was streamlined to eleven songs. Vocalist Nelson Díaz crafted the lyrics that weave together the album’s narrative.

Orellana handled the recording, mixing, and mastering at Oily Sound Studios in New York City. The album features contributions from eleven guest musicians. More details about “Stranded In Hell” will be unveiled in the lead-up to its 2026 release.

The tracklist for “Stranded In Hell” includes “One Foot in Hell,” “Burning the Black,” “Succubus,” “Stalking Sharks,” “Nameless,” “Red Planet,” “Vampire,” “The Oneironaut,” “Under the Moonlight,” “Before the Law,” and “Lex Talionis.”

In other news, Suffocation has announced a 2026 tour covering Southern and Eastern Europe. Additionally, the music community mourns the passing of Shaun Glass, former member of bands like Soil and Broken Hope.
