A Night In Texas is a deathcore band from Australia that is gearing up to release their fifth full-length album, “The Darkest Side Of Humanity”, on September 4th via Unique Leader Records. According to a press release, this upcoming album is said to be their darkest and most extreme offering yet.

Cory Judd handled the production of the album, with Christian Donaldson, known for his work with bands like Cryptopsy and Despised Icon, taking on the mixing and mastering duties. The band has released a music video for the first single off the album, titled “Metastatic Misery”, giving fans a taste of what to expect.

Describing the track, the band stated that “Metastatic Misery” delves into the commercialization of disease and the industries profiting from human suffering. The song centers around cancer and the harsh realities faced by those diagnosed, exploring a world where treatment becomes a commodity and profits often take precedence over compassion. Through themes of exploitation, desperation, and systemic failures, the song challenges the morality of turning vulnerable moments into financial gain.

Two guest artists will appear on the record, including Ryan Vail from Synestia/Larcenia Roe and Rheese Peters from Babirusa. The album will feature tracks such as “Oblivions Dominion”, “Rot From Within”, “Fed To Death”, and others, amounting to a total of ten songs that promise to push boundaries.
