Manowar announces 2027 German tour to celebrate ‘Kings Of Metal’ and ‘Fighting The … – WRIF
Manowar is gearing up to kick off their highly anticipated Kings Of Metal Fighting The World Tour 2027, which will consist of 21 performances across Germany. This tour comes on the heels of their successful Blood Of Our Enemies Tour that paid homage to the iconic albums Hail To England and Sign Of The Hammer.
The band’s upcoming concerts promise an exciting mix of setlists, with each show offering a unique experience. Fans can look forward to hearing the complete Kings Of Metal album performed from start to finish in one concert, while another will showcase Fighting The World in its entirety in addition to some extra tracks.
Having originally formed in 1980 in upstate New York, Manowar is led by bassist Joey DeMaio and vocalist Eric Adams, the only remaining original members still actively involved in the band. The albums Fighting The World from 1987 and Kings Of Metal from 1988 are considered classics among fans, featuring beloved tracks like “Fighting the World,” “Defender,” “Hail and Kill,” and “Warriors of the World United.”
DeMaio recently revealed exciting news about the re-recording of their album Sign Of The Hammer, which marked its 40th anniversary in 2024. Expressing their commitment to excellence, DeMaio shared, “We recorded everything. We listened. And we weren’t satisfied… Could we have rushed it out? Sure. But that’s not who we are.”
In a momentous return to the United States stage, Manowar performed at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York, on Nov 30, 2024. This concert marked their first U.S. performance in a decade, creating a wave of excitement among their loyal fan base.
