Band PRESIDENT Reveals New Single ‘Mercy’
PRESIDENT, the enigmatic masked rock band, unveiled their latest single, “Mercy,” on March 26. This track comes hot on the heels of their recent U.S. tour with Bad Omens. Reflecting on the intertwined nature of religion and strife throughout history, PRESIDENT shared, “This song delves into the profound division and loss associated with religion, offering a poignant reflection on these realities from a human perspective.”
Following the release of “Mercy,” which follows February’s “Angel Wings,” a lyric video accompanied the drop. PRESIDENT, known for their mysterious identities and thought-provoking lyrics that explore themes of religion, conflict, and humanity, have steadily grown their fanbase since emerging in 2025.
Their inaugural EP, King of Terrors, made its debut in Fall 2025, with tracks like “Destroy Me” making waves on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. Blending electronic elements with robust guitars and expansive production, PRESIDENT’s distinct sound sets them apart in the rock scene.
After concluding the Bad Omens tour with Beartooth in Oakland, California on March 27, PRESIDENT is gearing up for an eagerly anticipated UK and Ireland tour, commencing in Belfast on April 11. Their jam-packed summer schedule includes appearances at various festivals such as the Takedown Festival in Portsmouth on April 4, Slam Dunk Festival South and North in May, and Rock im Park and Rock am Ring in Germany in June. Fans can also catch them at Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium in June, Hellfest in France, Resurrection Fest in Spain, and Wacken Open Air in Germany in August. The band will make their way back to the U.S. for performances at Louder Than Life in Louisville in September and Aftershock in Sacramento in October.
