Red Clay Strays Announce New Album and Tour Dates for 2026
The Red Clay Strays have always been a band that defies classification. Their music exudes an old and elemental feel to American roots, which may not resonate with modern audiences. However, they have chosen to prioritize informing, uplifting, and inspiring listeners rather than conforming to industry standards. Remaining authentic and true to themselves has propelled them to success in the roots music scene, where they are now receiving mainstream recognition and accolades despite their outsider status.
The band’s upcoming album, “Grateful,” is set to be released on June 5th, with renowned producer Dave Cobb at the helm once again. While not exclusively a Gospel album, the spiritual essence of the songs is evident, as seen in the debut track “Demons In Your Choir,” featuring a Gospel choir. Reflecting on their journey, frontman Brandon Coleman shares, “‘Moment of Truth’ and ‘Made By These Moments’ were about faith and overcoming dark times. ‘Grateful’ represents our current state of appreciation for the journey we’ve been on.”
Featuring 11 tracks, including fan favorites like “People Hatin'” and “If I Didn’t Know You,” “Grateful” is now available for pre-order on vinyl. In conjunction with the album release, The Red Clay Strays have announced an extensive tour schedule for the latter half of 2026. The lineup includes opening acts such as Brent Cobb, Wyatt Flores, Sierra Ferrell, Muscadine Bloodline, The Revivalists, Sweet Talk, and more. Presales for new tour dates begin on April 28th and 29th, with general tickets on sale starting May 1st.
The tour spans various locations across the United States and Canada, with festival appearances and special guest performances lined up throughout. This tour not only showcases The Red Clay Strays’ unique sound but also emphasizes their commitment to staying true to their roots while continuing to evolve and grow as artists. Their dedication to authenticity and substance over style has set them apart in the music industry, proving that staying true to oneself can lead to limitless opportunities.
In a music landscape often dominated by trends and commercial interests, The Red Clay Strays serve as a beacon of authenticity and artistic integrity. Their new album and upcoming tour underscore their commitment to meaningful storytelling and genuine connections with their audience. As they navigate the complexities of the music industry, The Red Clay Strays continue to carve out a niche for themselves, reaffirming that being genuine and true to one’s artistry is a timeless recipe for success.
