Kpop Groups Sweep Top Charts

The latest figures from the World Albums chart by Billboard for the week ending on December 27 have been released. Stray Kids has secured the top two positions on the chart with their songs “DO IT” and “KARMA” maintaining the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, respectively. Notably, “DO IT” has now spent four weeks in the top 20 of the prestigious Billboard 200 chart. In addition, “KARMA” has become Stray Kids’ longest-charting album, staying on the chart for an impressive 17 consecutive weeks.

Stray Kids’ success does not stop there as they have a total of six albums on the World Albums chart. Their albums “合 (HOP),” “ATE,” “★★★★★ (5-STAR),” and “ROCK-STAR” are holding strong positions at No. 6, No. 15, No. 21, and No. 22, respectively.

CORTIS has maintained a steady No. 4 spot on the chart with their debut EP “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” for the 15th consecutive week. ENHYPEN has also held their place firmly at No. 5 with their album “DESIRE : UNLEASH,” and their previous album “ROMANCE : UNTOLD” is celebrating its 75th week on the chart, securing the No. 17 position.

“bomb” by ILLIT made a comeback to the No. 7 spot in its 26th week, while BTS’s “Proof” climbed to No. 8, maintaining its position well into its 185th week. Yeonjun from TXT secured the No. 9 spot with his solo mini album “NO LABELS: PART 01” in its sixth week on the chart. Jin’s solo EP “Happy” also re-entered the chart at No. 12. BOYNEXTDOOR’s “The Action” saw a significant jump to No. 13, and TXT’s “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER” arrived at No. 14.

Jimin’s solo album “MUSE” remained at No. 18 in its 74th week, followed by NewJeans’ “Get Up” at No. 19, now in its 119th week on the chart. Finally, ZEROBASEONE’s “NEVER SAY NEVER” made a comeback to the chart at No. 25 after 11 non-consecutive weeks.
