Jimmy Eat World announces 25th anniversary tour for ‘Bleed American’

Celebrated rock band Jimmy Eat World is gearing up to mark the 25th anniversary of their iconic album, “Bleed American,” with a special tour. The self-titled album, also known as Bleed American, was released as the band’s fourth studio effort and brought immense success with singles like “Bleed American,” “Sweetness,” and “The Middle,” which topped the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and claimed the fifth spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

The highly anticipated tour will commence on June 9 at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado and will also include performances in Illinois, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Oregon, Washington, Utah, California, Ontario, Arizona, and Texas, concluding on November 14 at Tampa, Florida’s MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheater. Additionally, the band will be joined by an eclectic mix of special guests on the road, including Rise Against, Hot Mulligan, Sunny Day Real Estate, Thrice, Motion City Soundtrack, Mom Jeans, Minus the Bear, The Get Up Kids, PUP, Sparta, Hey Mercedes, Girls Against Boys, Illuminati Hotties, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, and Jay Som.

While Jimmy Eat World plans to perform the entire album live during the tour, lead vocalist and guitarist Jim Adkins emphasized the profound impact “Bleed American” had on their career, noting how it resonated with a diverse audience and significantly influenced their musical journey.
