Mariah Carey shrugs off Rock and Roll Hall of Fame snub with ‘Who Cares?’ attitude

Mariah Carey’s reaction to not being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the third consecutive year was one of nonchalance. When asked by TMZ if she was bothered by the snub, Carey simply responded with a casual “No.” Refusing to dwell on the issue, she expressed a sentiment of indifference, stating, “Who cares? Like, give it to somebody else, fantastic.”

This year, Carey was listed as a nominee for induction, but unfortunately did not make the final cut, alongside several other notable artists like The Black Crowes, Lauryn Hill, and Shakira. In fact, artists like Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, and Oasis, who are among this year’s inductees, were nominated more than once before being recognized by the Hall of Fame.
