Leoni Jane Kennedy to release first original album “Synthetic” and UK tour dates

Award-winning British singer-songwriter and talented guitarist Leoni Jane Kennedy is set to release her debut album, “Synthetic,” on June 15, 2026. The exciting news follows a successful fundraising campaign that allowed Kennedy to produce a full physical merchandise run in just six days. The Blackpool-born musician, now based in London, has made a name for herself as a unique figure in the progressive and rock music scene. She was awarded the Freddie Mercury Scholarship by Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor in 2018 and recently clinched the No. 2 spot in PROG magazine’s “Best New Artist” category. After the positive reception of her 2023 acoustic Rush reinterpretation album, “New World Woman,” Leoni Jane Kennedy is ready to unveil a heavier, more intricate body of work with “Synthetic.” The album features seven tracks that blend progressive elements with intricate rock structures, showcasing Kennedy’s exceptional technical guitar skills and powerful vocal performances. Collaborating with Eliot Kennedy and Nick Andrew on production and mixing, Kennedy expresses her excitement about sharing this musical journey with her audience.
