Guitar Wolf announces European spring tour to promote new album ‘More Jet’
Garage rock band Guitar Wolf is making its grand return to Europe with an upcoming new album, “More Jet,” and an extensive tour. This will mark Guitar Wolf’s first album release after a seven-year hiatus. The European leg of the tour will commence in France on May 14 before concluding in the Netherlands on June 20. Guitar Wolf’s album, “More Jet,” is set to be released on June 12 on vinyl through Goner Records.
Formed in 1987, Guitar Wolf has adhered to a simplistic philosophy since its inception – play fast and hard. This ethos reflects in the band’s explosive, high-energy, and raw rock ‘n’ roll sound, drawing influences from surf, garage punk, and rockabilly. Guitar Wolf’s trademark style consists of short, punchy songs bursting with infectious energy, making it an adrenaline-fueled experience for their fans. In a tribute to one of its members, Toru (Drum Wolf) who had been with the band since 1991, Guitar Wolf released a live album titled “BLACK LEATHER BOMB LIVE at WWWX” in 2023. The band’s current lineup includes Seiji on guitar and vocals, Gotz on bass, and Takuro on drums.
The upcoming Guitar Wolf European Tour 2026 includes performances at various venues, spanning across France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Czechia, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and the Netherlands. Kicking off on May 14 at Diff’Art in Parthenay, France, the band will continue to rock through iconic European cities before wrapping up the tour in Utrecht, Netherlands, on June 20 at dB’s.
